Commission – Arcane Shapeshifter for D&D

Commissioned character for a Dungeons & Dragons campaign.
This OC is a powerful mage who shapeshifts into a monstrous, anthropomorphic form when channeling high-level magic.

The idea of duality, a graceful spellcaster and a raw, arcane creature, inspired me to explore visual contrasts: soft shapes vs. sharp edges, glowing magical energy vs. shadows.

I really enjoyed balancing the mystical and the monstrous in this piece, and pushing myself with the lighting and form language.
